Introducing:

RAY PIERCE

"I've always tried to give people a complete show, rather than just an act. An act is mono dimensional with one emotion, one character, and one theme throughout. In my shows I try to touch the audience with as many emotions as possible."

Yes, Ray Pierce has come a long way from the rehearsal halls of Dallas/Ft. Worth to the entertainment capitals of the world. In addition to his accomplishments as a Magician & Illusionist, Ray is also a very experienced Producer, Director, Choreographer, Musical Arranger and designer of Night Club & Theater Installations around the country.

Ray Pierce entered the world of entertainment at the age of nine, not with backyard theatricals, but rather in featured juvenile roles in "Gypsy", "Pinocchio", and "Bye Bye Byrdie." As both Ray and his experience grew, he began landing starring roles in "Treasure Island", "Sugar", and "You Can't Take It With You", among others.

Never one to rest on his laurels, young Mr. Pierce was taking additional training in voice and dance. This led to full scholarship with the Dallas Metropolitan Ballet Company.

Under careful tutelage, he expanded his range to include Jazz, Tap, & Gymnastics. How Ray ever found time to teach himself magic must be one of his greatest mysteries! Even at this tender age and without any influence from other magicians, Ray developed a style based on solid theatrical experience. His remarkable degree of originality combined with refreshing exuberance made Ray Pierce a sought after performer in night clubs he was legally too young to enter!

He was seen by Sid & Marty Krofft and invited to perform in various major amusement parks throughout the country. After several seasons of traveling, Ray set his goals on Hollywood and began anew, devoting himself to the mastery of Magic!

In 1978, Ray formed RAY PIERCE PRODUCTIONS and quickly became a valued consultant for his unique ability to expertly design and coordinate all of the different facets of a production. In addition, he also designed or created mysteries for such celebrities as Olivia Newton-John, Steve Martin, Bette Midler, and Orson Welles. In more recent years, his work as a magical consultant can be seen on such shows as "In Living Color", "Mr. Belvedere", "The Bob Newhart Show", "The Flash", "Amen", "Columbo", and many others.

Ray quickly became one of the top performers at Hollywood's Magic Castle, establishing him as a unique stylist and a major force in magic. He went on to produce, direct, and star in several 6 week, cross-country tours in Canada, credited as the catalyst in raising over $2,000,000 each year for Canadian charities.

Recent performances in every location from Japan to Venezuela have proven the predictions made years ago about this dynamic young entertainer. Says Mr. Pierce when asked about his art, "I knew intuitively that magic could be a moving experience . . . all I did was supply the movement!"

May we add, that is no illusion!
